Eric’s Ultimate Puzzles (“the App”) is developed and published by Sniderware, owned and operated by Eric Snider (dba Sniderware). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to operate the App, deliver puzzles, improve gameplay, and support advertising and purchases.
1.1 Device & Usage Information
We automatically collect basic, non-personally identifiable information, such as:
- Device model and operating system
- App version
- IP address (processed by third-party services, not stored by us permanently)
- General usage data (sessions, features used, date/time)
- Crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics)
This information helps us maintain performance, debug issues, and improve the App.
1.2 Advertising Data
The App uses Google AdMob (and may integrate additional ad networks such as Meta Audience Network, Vungle, or AdColony in the future).
These services may collect:
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID)
- Approximate location
- Device and interaction data
This data enables either personalized or non-personalized ads based on your consent or local law.
Consent is handled through Google UMP, including GDPR, ATT, and applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
1.3 In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
We use RevenueCat to manage purchases. RevenueCat provides us:
- An anonymous RevenueCat App User ID
- Purchase history (non-personalized)
- Subscription status
We do not receive your name, email address, or payment details from Apple or Google.
1.4 Firestore Analytics (Custom System)
We store minimal gameplay analytics in Google Firebase / Firestore, such as:
- Anonymous user identifier
- Device info (model, OS version)
- Last played date
- Gameplay metrics (e.g., puzzle completion events, coins earned/spent)
No personally identifiable information is stored unless you create an account (see below).
1.5 Optional User Accounts (Future Feature)
In the future, you may choose to create an account to sync puzzle progress across devices.
If you choose to create an account, we may collect:
- Email address
- Display name or username
- Password (stored securely by Firebase Auth — never by Sniderware)
Accounts will always be optional.
Users under 13 are not permitted to create accounts.
1.6 Optional Email List
If we introduce an opt-in email newsletter, your email will be used only for that purpose and you may unsubscribe anytime.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Operate and improve the App
- Deliver puzzles and game features
- Provide in-app purchases and subscriptions
- Show ads (personalized only with your consent)
- Analyze performance and fix issues
- Sync progress if you create an account in the future
- Comply with legal obligations
We never sell personal information.
Advertising partners may treat certain data (e.g., advertising identifiers) as “selling” or “sharing” under privacy laws; UMP handles your opt-in/opt-out choices.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect data according to their own policies:
- Google AdMob
- Google Firebase / Firestore
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Google UMP (User Messaging Platform)
- RevenueCat (subscriptions & purchases)
Additional advertising partners may be added in the future.

- Children under 13 may not create accounts.
- If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
The App does not use cookies directly.
Third-party SDKs (such as AdMob or Firebase) may store identifiers or small data files to provide their services.
You may reset advertising identifiers through your device settings.
6. Rights Under GDPR, CCPA, and Other Privacy Laws
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request deletion of personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate information

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
